Elmbridge Residents Frustrated By Derelict Boats Moored Along The River Thames

Elmbridge residents are becoming frustrated by the number of derelict boats that are being moored along the Thames Path in Molsey and Hampton Court.

The number of partially sunken and derelict boats that have been moored and abandoned on the riverside has become an eyesore for many locals who use the area.

Some of the boats that have been parked on the riverbank have been there for over six years, with the council having failed to remove them.

Residents are becoming increasingly concerned about the damage these boats could be having to wildlife along the river or to those who use the river for leisure activities.

The issue has been an increasing concern for residents, frustrated that the council has taken so long to act on these issues.
